The Fairtex SP5 Shin Pads are a full coverage shin guard engineered for fighters who demand protection, comfort and competition-readiness in a single package. Available in a distinctive olive green colourway, the SP5 is one of Fairtex's most thoughtfully designed shin guards — built around a series of practical innovations that set it apart from standard shin pad construction.

The standout feature is Fairtex's stitching-free open system between the shin protector and foot protector. Traditional shin pads use stitching at this junction, which can press uncomfortably against the top of the foot during training and over time cause irritation and injury. The SP5 eliminates this entirely, allowing the two sections to move more naturally and keeping the foot comfortable throughout extended sessions.

The shell is constructed from Fairtex's durable Syntek leather over a double layer high impact foam core, providing excellent protection across the shin and foot while remaining lightweight and responsive. An extended side and top protection design ensures the guard sits as close to the shin as possible for a natural, secure feel — minimising the shifting and repositioning that can disrupt training flow. A durable cotton stretch denim lining prevents slipping during use, and soft piping on the turn-up foot protector prevents irritation to the top of the foot.

Crucially, the SP5 contains no metal loop — making it approved for use in amateur competition at major events. Left and right sides are clearly differentiated by a Double-F silk screen print, preventing any confusion when putting on. Handmade in Thailand.
