Richard Cadden:

Richard has been training in Muay Thai since 1997 when he started with Pierre Mahon at Kao Loi Gym in York. After a short amateur career Richard realised he was more interested in competing and moved to the Bad Company Gym in Leeds. Under the tuition of Richard Smith, Richard progressed through the domestic level bouts to be a well-recognised fighter on the international circuit. Richard has competed at the World Championships in Bangkok where he won a bronze medal in 2002. In 2004 he lived in Thailand for 4 months where he fought out of Jitti Gym. In 2005 Richard returned in October and challenged for the 67kilo WPMF World Title and won a convincing points victory over Mohammed RhomPho in Nonthanburi, just outside Bangkok. Richard has defended this title in Thailand every six-months and is still the current holder. This is a very prestigious title and has been held by some of the biggest names in the sport, such as Sakmongkol and Nitta (Japan).

Richard has been the number one light welterweight in the country since 2002, and holding titles at 3 different weights. Having had over 40 fights, Richard continues to build his reputation domestically and internationally with his fight career

Jordan Watson:

Jordan fights out of the world renowned Bad Company Gym. He had an extensive junior fight record before continuing to blaze a trail on the adult circuit.

Moving steadily up in weight he has been a real crowd-puller with dynamite in both hands and some of the scariest kicks in Muay Thai this side of Bangkok (just sit anywhere near ringside and you can hear the effect his kicks are having!)

Jordan won the UK Contender 8 man elimination tournament, meeting Tim Thomas; Craig Jose and Chris Shaw on his way to the final to book his place in the next series of Contender Asia. Good luck Jordan!

Padraic McDonagh:

P fights out of the Golden Team in Leeds and is one of the most exciting and explosive 65Kg fighters in the UK today.

Oliver Hutchinson:

Oli also fights out of the Golden Team in Leeds and has recently won the under 75Kg EMF Pro Am British title. He has a non-stop work ethic and works solidly, quickly and technically from the first bell to the final one. He aims to fight as often as possible before going out to Thailand to live and study for a year in summer 2009. Watch out for him!
